Dewatering Bag

Dewatering Bags are designed to contain sediment and some oils during dewatering operations. Standard and custom sizes are available. These bags can accommodate up to 6" discharge hose. But are recommended for use with up to 3" pump size. Flow rates will vary dramatically according to soil type. Sand will typically flow at the fastest rate with clay flowing the slowest. Clay can also bind over the fabric in some instances blocking flow entirely. Dewatering bags are normally allowed to dry in place then cut open and removed with heavy equipment.
