Our sandbags and gravel bags are manufactured with orange or light yellow dyed poly styrene strands. Strands have a typical thickness of 850 denier. Strand weave is typically 10x10 per square inch. Sandbags to the rescue! I had a flooding issue in my complex recently (broken sprinklers). We ordered a bundle of these bags and filled them with local soil. We were able to keep out most of the flooding and save our yard.
