Organic Binder - Hydromulch Tackifier

Organic Binder Tackifier is a premium organic 100% Psyllium fiber derived from the outer coating of the Plantago seed. It is valuable as a binding agent and tackifier when used with hydroseeding mulch in seeding or erosion control applications. It is highly effective and economical for holding surface applications of hay or straw mulch in place. It improves slurry suspension and slurry flow. Organic Tackifier is durable and forms a firm, resilient, re-wettable membrane which secures the surface. Also an effective, short term, and economical dust control application method when combined with wood fiber mulch and applied with a hydromulching machine.Application Rates:40 to 200 pounds per acre depending on degree of slope, soil type, and time duration desired. Prepare the slurry by mixing seed, mulch, fertilizer, Organic Tackifier, and water in the tank in the amounts specified. Slowly, add all the material and mix thoroughly. Most seed mixes require application to the area to be seeded or protected within forty five minutes after seed is introduced to the mix.
